Shtiebel.org has been established to provide a Virtual Synagogue for Jewish worship of the Lord our God, to provide for Synagogue fellowship for our Jewish community, to provide a structure for the nurture, challenge and maturing of our congregants in the Jewish community, to assume our share of the responsibility and privilege of teaching the Torah (and other books of the “Hebrew Bible”), and to minister to people’s physical, social and spiritual needs, across North America.
The Synagogue’s activities are focused upon the spiritual growth of its congregants, the training of its youth, and religious outreach, to those in need of spiritual worship.
Shtiebel.org is a physical and Virtual Synagogue that brings Jews together for Jewish prayer services and rituals. We are a Jewish Synagogue serving both Conservative and Reform Jewish congregants. In areas in the United States where there is no house of worship or study for people, we will be their Virtual house of worship and study. We are Synagogue for Jewish cantors and rabbis with their students. Our Synagogue aims to foster love of God through Jews learning the Torah. Our Virtual Synagogue is particularly beneficial for congregants with small children who have difficulty going to an in-person physical Synagogue as well as seniors and those with physical disabilities. In cold winter climates, even a short walk outside can be a deterrent to partaking in communal worship and study.
